I adore AUs. They're so much fun, and with my main RP Partner, I've a good five or six. I also love mixing up new AUs. I thought I'd post a list of some of the ones I've created, and see what happens. One thing I should mention right off the bat is that I've often had repeats of the same characters with different blood colors, as well as OCs, and that I prefer bloodswaps and OCs to normal characters. I'm sorry in advance if I shouldn't have made this thread.
Nongame Bloodswap- Character's blood color, ancestry, personality and relationships are all radically changed, and all trolls live on Alternia, or in the empire. Mostly based around relationships.
Sgrub Bloodswap- 12 trolls cooperate to get into their session of Sgrub, and play the game together. The blood color, ancestry, personality and relationship changes are all present. This usually involves some level of predetermined plot.
Persona 3/4! Stuck - A variety of trolls are all fellow students on Gekkoukan College Planetary, a relatively new, nonbiased to blood college which teaches many subjects. Each character is designated one of the 22 major arcana of the tarot, and levels up their relationships with others based on a 'social link' system. There may be some elements of battle and RPG, which can be worked out later.
FTLstuck (Faster Than Light) - Many years ago, trolls and humans forged an alliance after the creation of the 'Faster Than Light' drive, that allowed them to create an amazing alliance, spanning most of the galaxy. Ships have the ability to instantly jump from beacon to beacon- a very efficient way of traversing space. Threatened by the rebel alliance, one ship has been tasked with the extremely long journey of bringing a piece of ancient technology to an Alliance research vessel; what's discovered may change the fate of the war. In addition to normal trolls and humans, there are several deepset variations that have evolved over time. The Zoltan variants have developed a deep relationship with the energies of the universe, and can power some of a ship's system themselves, along with other electricity based powers. The Slugs have developed extremely high level psychic power, regardless of caste. The Metrid have altered themselves to become synthetic though sentient cyborgs, much more advanced than normal trolls or humans. All participating characters will be crewmembers on the vessel going to the research station. New crewmates can be added as the ship stops at more beacons.
TWEWYstuck (The World Ends With You) - After death, some people are selected to play a game- The Reaper's Game. Paying the price of whatever they treasured most, they're sent to the Underground (UG), a version of a real city in which the inhabitants rarely notice them. They must compete against other players in order to survive until the end of one week - at which point they are allowed to come back to life. Each of the seven days has a goal, facilitated by the game's guides and sometimes antagonists - The Reapers. Ordinary people elevated to high status in order to facilitate the game. There's also the conductor- the grand orchestrator of the week's events. But don't forget the composer either; the one who designs the twists and turns of the games itself. The last important aspect are The Noise - negative feelings with physical manifestation in the UG - each player must partner with another in order to be able to fight The Noise, or face death.
